We are MathEnglish.com, a 26 year old educational organization founded in 1996 that provides after school and weekend enrichment to precocious students headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. We are hiring after school English and Mathematics instructors for 2nd-8th graders to teach at our physical location (10101 Molecular Dr, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850) a M-F 4-6pm. This role is perfect for current full time teachers looking for a long-term supplement to their income. The pay rate is $40/hr.

Our students and their parents are all too familiar with the downfall of the pre-collegiate education system in America and the lack of real learning that occurs in the present day American public school system.

We seek a talented and hungry Mathematics and English instructors who can engage in lively discussions with our students and provide insightful and timely commentary on their work. You will be free to follow our course suggestions as well as inject your own pedagogy into your lessons. Assignments and feedback are submitted entirely through our website, and your job will entail assigning grades to students' assignments in addition to providing meaningful feedback.

Although this current job posting seeks to hire for the current Fall and Spring semesters, we will also be hiring camp instructors in the near future for our Summer programs and online courses. Many opportunities are available in our organization, as we have urgent needs on multiple fronts.

Candidates must possess the following characteristics:
