An audiophile preamp with a wide variety of features rivaling current multi-$1000 A/V preamps/receivers (and is unlike nearly all other used preamps in this price range; for ex.,look at the back with all the input/output options; but does not have Dolby Atmos). Very high 'build' quality using better components, excellent specs and robust design (with Integra only sold by installers/high end shops). Substantial, not the usual light weight preamp, with well isolated components, as tall/large as an A/V receiver and weighs 24 lbs. Originally sold in 2013 for $2,000 (controlled distribution with no discounts).
An excellent deal, selling at much the same price as preamps without all the options, including A/V receiver features, this offers,
Excellent working condition (see notes below), other than Audyssey. Can be auditioned (can swapped in, replace another DHC-60.6 unit currently running my 5.2 system). Satisfaction guaranteed -- fully returnable within 7-10 days.
Features include THX Ultra2 Plus certification; 9 HDMI inputs; 4K video processing; independent 15-band equalization for each set of speakers (a feature otherwise need to pay $1000s for)! Volume and crossover frequencies can also be independently set for each set of speakers (including supporting bi-amping); USB (connect drives); phono and headphone preamps; networking by WiFi, ethernet and Bluetooth; runs various music streaming software; has Internet radio options; AM/FM tuner with presets; 7 main and 2 subwoofer preamp outputs (both crossover/XLR and RCA connections); also includes standard bass and treble controls on the front.. Handles all digital input formats likely to be encountered and all but the very latest decoding formats, including many types of Dolby and THX.
Comes with original box, Audyessey calibration microphone, and an Onkyo Integra remote control (for a similar preamp/receiver; not the original remote; what I’ve long used).
Downsides:
1) Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room acoustic correction/equalization calibration is not working. Presumably if desired, a replacement board could be swapped in from another DHC-60.5. Everything else works as it should. With calibration (using the included Audyssey microphone) stopping at the 1st point the test signal is analyzed, an Integra-authorized repair technician said it is almost certainly the Audyssey board that needs replacement. But shops no longer have an interest in fixing this unit, citing original parts and support no longer available, with Integra no longer existing as part of Onkyo (was spun-off/sold).
2) Does not run the latest software. For ex., supports 5- and 7-channel Dolby Pro Logic II and THX derivation and 4K video, but not Dolby Atmos or HDMI3.
Unit is in excellent physical condition, with a few scratches, scuffs, etc. Photos are stock, taken from online. Actual photos will be posted soon or if anyone is interested.

Read the reviews online. [Strangely, several prominent (in search engines) periodical reviews criticize the quality of voice/dialog, while others and user comments online note no problem with this. Dialog was good enough for the unit to get THX® Ultra2 Plus certification by Lucasfilms (so you know it's good for home theater). I have noticed no problems (particularly using a center speaker). In fact, the reason I'm selling this DHC-60.5 is that I just purchased a unit with working Audyssey calibration, which I need with my listening room.
