A legendary, very rare, Class H, ≥250 watts/channel, USA hand made power amp. Not used in recent decades.
Worked great until 1 day would not power up. Local high-end shop said it was a blown power supply and they quoted ridiculous amount to recondition (since they had no schematics or parts lists). All the LED volume/gain indicator lights worked. Missing the original power button; and 3 indicator lights have been pushed inside.
When tested at a McIntosh-sponsored test clinic beat the then top-line McIntosh amp (rated 250wpc) including with slightly higher constant and peak power and just as good signal/noise. Can power the most power-hungry speakers (but I had very efficient, 103db, speakers and could rarely ever power over 1 watt average (as shown by the LEDs).
