Title: Event Production Assistant
Location: Studio located in Rockville, MD with events occurring off-site in DMV (DC, Maryland, and Virginia)
Requirements:
Valid U.S. driver’s license and personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation.
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to lift and/or carry heavy items, including boxes, buckets, furniture, and other materials needed for events.
Punctual
Preferred Skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Self-starter, solutions-oriented, problem solver,
Familiarity with hospitality industry.
Familiarity with a supply chain environment.
Freelance experience working wedding installation and breakdown/strike.
Ability to drive 15ft or cargo vans a plus.
Role Requirements:
Ability to support team in the installation process of events.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions within designated windows of time.
Maintains professional decorum in written and oral communication.
Works well with others.
Unpacking event-related material.
Support staff in maintenance and upkeep of decor items.
Safely and efficiently loads and unloads event trucks containing equipment, furniture, florals, and decorative elements.
Assists with the construction, design, and repair of structural components required for events utilizing on-site tools and equipment.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Ability to assist with cleaning, washing, and drying of vases, candleholders, and other event hardgoods.
Shift Availability:
Weekdays (Mon-Fri) in Rockville, MD: Shifts ranging from 7:30 AM - 5 PM
Pay: $16-$22
Weekends (Daytime): Shifts and locations vary depending on event times
Pay: $18-$25
Weekends (Overnight): Shifts ranging from 11:30 PM - 3 AM
Pay: $150 flat rate
