Traditionally used in Himalayan ritual dances or hung in homes to ward off negative spirits, this mask features the classic "wrathful" expression of the Great Protector.
• Origin: Likely Nepal or Tibet.
• Material: Solid wood, deeply carved with vibrant polychrome pigment and gold accents.
• Iconography: Includes the Third Eye of Wisdom, prominent fangs (demonstrating the destruction of obstacles), and ornate golden scrollwork representing a crown and beard.
• Dimensions: Approximately 7” wide and 7” tall (as shown in photos).
