I purchased this hand-made three tier modern industrial media console table from an artisan (GreyDuckLuxury) based in Columbia Heights, Washington DC. It is crafted from salvaged materials (reclaimed lumber and metal) from a DC row-house. The artist stained the wood with a homemade iron acetate solution derived partly from the board nails. In his words, "iron acetate acts as a chemical stain that imparts a rich, aged color and enhances the natural character, or figuring, of the wood." The finish is a semi-gloss polyurethane to protect and make it easier to clean.
The measurements are 43.5” length, 14.25” width, 19” height.
I used it to hold a television, media players and knick-knacks in a small urban apartment.
