The rotating mechanism opens the three-part tabletop and allows access to the extension 'leaves'. The pedestal base allows for flexible seating, as there are no legs to limit chair placement or risk knee bumps. With the leaf system closed, the table comfortably seats four to five people. When extended, it can accommodate up to eight, depending on chair size and place settings.
