Purchased from Design Within Reach (DWR) for a second living room ultimately repurposed as a gym.
“My collections are all about comfort, sculptural shapes, and bold proportions,” says Australian designer Sarah Ellison. Having grown up in the 1970s, Ellison is nostalgic for overstuffed sofas and materials like velvet, but takes them in a more modern direction with her Muse Sofa. The Muse is a luxe, sculptural showstopper that's also wonderfully livable, low-maintenance, and relaxed.
- Finish: Finished in a woven tufted velvet, providing the durability of polyester with the look and soft touch of cotton. The rich caramel color is a warm orange-brown hue.
- Frame Construction: Durably constructed with a corner-blocked kiln-dried hardwood frame with reinforced joinery and recessed solid oak feet, making the sofa look like it’s floating.
- Seat and Cushion Construction: Firmer feel with supportive sit made with medium density foam and webbing.
- Weight: Just 25lbs.
- Modularity: Additional components available from DWR to create larger sectional configuration.
