This antique heirloom child-sized rocking chair features custom brass name plates of children from the Hubbard family. The top name plate says "Eliza Jane Hubbard." The middle name plate says "Helen Elizabeth Hubbard." And the bottom name plate says "Laura Elizabeth Hubbard."
The solid wood rocking chair has a 3-rung ladder back, straight round stiles topped with finials, turned arms, woven natural rush seat, and legs united by a box stretcher and ending in rocker rails attached with wood nails.
The late 19th century rocking chair is in very good antique condition. Solid and sturdy. Can be used for generations to come. Authentic warm and worn patina, including scratches and scuffs. Repaired crack on one leg. Please see photos for more details about condition.
The chair measures 27" tall, 14.75" wide, and 24.5" deep (including the rocker rails). The seat height is 7.5 inches.
