This is a charming colonial style jelly cupboard or storage cabinet that could be used for extra storage in a kitchen, a server in a dining room, or as a console in an entry way.
The antique jelly cabinet is made of solid maple wood. It has a single wide dovetail jointed drawer with removable dividers above two paneled doors that open to reveal a spacious storage area with one fixed shelf. The cabinet sits on a dovetail jointed base with a scalloped apron on three sides. The cabinet is unsigned but was likely made in the United States in the early 20th century.
The cabinet is in very good vintage condition. It is authentically aged and time worn with scratches, gauges and signs of being put to good use over the decades. But the cabinet remains super sturdy, well made and as useful as it is beautiful.
The jelly cupboard measures 34" tall, 38.5" wide, and 18" deep.
