We are seeking a dedicated Temporary General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team for a two-week assignment. Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans
Perform general dentistry procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions with precision and care
Execute oral surgeries and root canal therapies using aseptic techniques and appropriate medical imaging tools
Utilize dental software systems Dentrix Ascend for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment
Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term wellness
Requirements
Valid dental license in good standing with relevant licensing boards in the state of Maryland
Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to oral health
Experience performing dental extractions, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure patient confidentiality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
