The sweetest brown and white female pitt bull was found near Sligo Creek Parkway and Houston Avenue on Thursday roaming hungry and thirsty. She was wearing a pink collar, but it looked like her tags had been ripped off the ring. She was clean and looked well cared for. She is friendly, gives paw, responds to commands. She may have been dumped from another area.

She is currently at the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center i Derwood, MD. Nobody has claimed this awesome pup. She will be put up for adoption on August 11 at midnight. If you have lost his lovely dog or know who someone who is looking for her, please call the shelter. Pitts get a bad rap and most of the dogs euthanized at shelters are lovely dogs like this one. She's full grown and about two. She would make a wonderful pet. Please help this wonderful dog find her way back to her owner or a new home that will give her the love and affection she most certainly deserves.
