Hi, I'm a retired teacher and full-time tutor. I specialize in AP/honors physics, and in algebra 2, precalculus, and AP calculus. I have bachelors degrees in physics and computer science from the University of Delaware, and a law degree from the University of Virginia. My preferred pronouns are they/them.

Because I believe that tutoring works best when there is a personal connection between tutor and student, I offer the first lesson with a new student for free, to see if I am a good fit for the student.
My standard rate is $75 per hour. Background check, resume, and references available upon request.
Here's reviews from some of my students:
"Flexible, kind and great at teaching!
I was very behind in Physics and with very little stress or concern, Frank helped me get back to understanding it all. He was always extremely flexible with me, and helped me manage my time to get to the best possible result. Now I am doing great in physics, and I owe it to him!" - Molly, 6 lessons with Frank
Frank is very punctual, very responsive to my daughter's questions, and is very accommodating when we have to reschedule at the last minute. My daughter likes his teaching and feels confident when taking exams and tests at school. His favorite subjects are Calculus (AB and BC calculus) and also AP-physics. He teaches high school math and physics as his full time job. So he stays connected with the subjects in more ways than one. He taught her AP-CS and she ended up with good grades in that as well. I would recommend Frank to anyone in High school taking AP-Calculus courses or AP-Physics or AP-Computer Science" - Soumya, 43 lessons with Frank
My daughter loves Frank. She was very hesitant about getting a tutor but now loves him. She improve her grade with just one lesson with Frank. He is very patient and knows how to explain to her in way that she understands." - Jacqueline, 16 lessons with Frank
