As a music teacher, I believe that every student has a the ability to grow and to succeed as a musician. It is my responsibility to help them develop their creative talents. I do all that I can to bring out the best in my student. My expectations for each student are very high, higher than the student may think they can achieve. Learning an instrument, particularly the voice, makes the student very vulnerable. I like to create a safe environment so that the student can be comfortable enough to ask questions, try their own ideas, and look inside themselves to find their expression and create their art. I believe the ability to express yourself is the main purpose of making music.
