I bought this bike new. Hard to believe it's 20 years old already. It was my first, and it outlived all others I've ridden. I love this bike, and I know someone else is going to, as well.
The only significant issue is that the battery won't charge, which will eventually cause the engine to cut out (after about 5 miles of city driving). It's possibly the stator or wiring between battery and stator, but I no longer have the time or money to diagnose and repair. New stator motor is under $100 and a pretty basic swap on this bike.
The rest of the issues are cosmetic and common in an old bike.
-Rear seat bolt snapped off in rear fender (seat is in great shape)
-Some rubber hoses need replacing (I'll hand over a box of newer ones that I've been gradually swapping out)
-The clear coat on the tank has some haze and blisters.
-LCD layer on the odometer is peeling (see picture)
I've also got a full windscreen, rear seat backrest with luggage rack and brackets, saddle bag brackets, and some bolts that go with it. They need some TLC, but they served me well when I used to do long mountain ride.
