This is for the old 24-pin Guitars/cables, as made by Roland, Ibanez, and others.
I've had the unit since way-back-when, giving it light use over the years as an alternative converter to for the Ibanez X-ing guitar I used to have. I sold the guitar, so I have no further use for the unit myself.
If you have a working 24-pin guitar (or bass), you can hardly go wrong to have an extra brain around!
