UltraSound amps are known for very transparent acoustic tone. Roughly comparable modern 2-channel acoustic amps typically run $440–$600.
By appointment, a potential buyer can test with one of my microphones or with any other microphone(s) clearly compatible with the DS4 specs. I can email a copy of the detailed "DS4 Operating Guide" to any potential buyer.
The UltraSound DS4 features:
• 50 watts RMS (stereo – 25W per side) into two 8" coaxial speakers
• Two independent channels, each with XLR / 1/4" combo inputs
• The XLR inputs provide 13.6V phantom power (works with most stage-type condenser mics)
• Channel 1: flat response, great for vocals
• Channel 2: optimized for acoustic guitar (or mandolin, etc.); Shape switch (mid scoop) and Notch Filter (100–350 Hz) for feedback control
• Built-in 24-bit digital effects (16 presets: reverb, delay, chorus, flange, rotary, etc.)
• Direct Out (XLR), Line Out, Effects Send/Return, Footswitch jack, Tape/CD input
• Built-in limiter to prevent clipping
