Marantz PMD-740 6 Chan Mix/4 Track Recorder - $600 (Millersville)

This is a really interesting 4 track recorder that has its own small following. It works but there are three things you should know:
1) The plastic cover over the clock(?) is missing BUT it still lights up and works as it should.
2) The input for the power supply sticks and will pull out with male end of the power supply if you pull it quickly. It should probably be glued or better fastened. It doesn't impact the operation of the machine in anyway.
3) There is some slight warping of the "sticker" that covers 2/3rds of the face of the recorder. As a result, some of the sliders will stick. This does impact how you interact with the machine but you can still freely move those sliders, but it would be easy to fix.
I bought this ages ago with the aspiration of using it at home to record, but it didn't happen. Works great! Likely some dusty pots and sliders for sitting so long, but a quick cleaning and you're good to make music.
