GenX. Formal training in music (read music) and visual art. Repertoire spans roots, Chuck Berry, Little Richard etc through classic 60’s RnB Rock, brit invasion, Blues/Revival, American Songbook, Real Book etc. All the top 40.
Not strictly relevant but Avant Garde from Varese, Weber, Monk, AACM, to Steve Reich Vijay Iyer.
Experience: Society, variety, jazz (trios to big bands). Decent singer. Tastes range from commercial to avant garde. At this point looking for some fun (and what the hell) some remuneration.
Interpersonal e/iNTJ/p. Opinionated but easy going and more of a listener. Playful. Generally under-stated. Appreciate dance, performance, and shape shifting. Not a killer technician but pretty solid. Great dynamics/listening skills. Studied with Martucci, clinics with Cobham, Albert Heath, DeJohnette, Appice, Joe Morello, Specially interested in pickups in AdMo/Mt Pleasant. Can host rehearsal a couple times a month.
