Looking for Guitarist and Percussionist for Concert in DC – Sep 13

About the Show:
A genre-spanning set: jazz standards, rock, soul, alternative, neo-soul, disco, and house — plus my original songs: Ella Fitzgerald → Billie Holiday → Radiohead → Billie Eilish → Grace Jones → Kali Uchis → and more.
Needed:
🎸 Guitarist – acoustic + electric, comfortable across styles
🥁 Percussionist – cajón, congas, shakers, tambourine, etc.
🎼 Music Director skills a plus
🎤 Able to sing simple background vocals a plus
Must Haves:
• Can read charts (create if needed) and able to improvise if called for
• Versatility & comfort with multiple genres
• Professionalism, reliability, collaborative and positive spirit
• Comfortable with backing tracks if needed
Rehearsals:
4 total (2 the week before, 2 the week of) – approx. 2 hrs each. I am a professional performance artist and singer who aims to present entertaining and engaging performances of quality. Rehearsal is required to achieve this. Free/low-cost rehearsal space is a plus.
Compensation:
Paid from ticket sales (50-64 $20 tickets). Door split covers musicians, artist(s) & tech. Opportunity for future local, national and global gigs & house music album/tour.
