Development Database Coordinator (Raiser's Edge) (Rockville/Bethesda)

The Choice Inc is a boutique recruiting agency that recruits for nonprofits and associations in the Washington, DC area.

We are currently seeking a Development Database Coordinator for our nonprofit client in the public health field. This is a critical support for that supports a highly important element of fundraising and outreach for the organization.

The ideal candidate has previous experience using Raiser's Edge or a similar fundraising database, speficially with the reporting functions.

The Coordinator will also support the organization’s essential gift record activities. This includes processing fulfillment orders, acknowledging gifts, and conducting research.

Additional job duties will include:

Processing gifts in Raiser’s Edge
Processing daily imports from lockbox vendor and third-party peer-to-peer fundraising platform via the Omatic import tool in Raiser’s Edge
Data hygiene
Producing gift receipts
Proactively responding to and resolving issues with constituent requests submitted by mail, phone, email, or other communications within organizationally established time frames
Providing ongoing support of the monthly reconciliation process by ensuring all data is up to date and providing reports in adherence with departmental deadlines
Recommending adjustments and process improvements based on daily interactions

Associate’s degree or higher
1 – 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or a similar database is required
Strong attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Self-Starter and reliability is imperative in this remote environment
Candidates must have their own computer equipment to be used for the remote period
The work hours are Monday – Thursday – 8:30 am to 5 pm, with ½ hour paid lunch and Friday – 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, with ½ hour paid lunch. When the office returns to “in the office” work, Friday hours will be 9 am to 3 pm, with ½ hour paid lunch.

Work will conducted remotely until a safe return to the office is announced. The office is accessible to red line Metro and also offers parking.
