We are looking for a dynamic, high energy, ready-to-work Leasing Manager. From discovering the prospects’ needs and matching them with the perfect unit, to nurturing the resident experience while supporting the property’s needs, our Leasing Manager is critical to building our community. Every day is an opportunity to meet new people and turn them into a happy resident.

Duties Include:

* Working closely with Property Manager and assisting as needed
* Communicating with owners, property manager, facilities manager, residents and vendors
* Answer phone calls and respond to texts and emails * Initial questions most likely come through you first. You must be quick to determine the resident’s needs, resolve and/or escalate to a higher level as needed * Schedule tours, qualify and sell the property’s features to prospective residents * Fostering new relationships with our customers is vital to the success of this position
* Process rental applications
* Collect rent checks, post in Yardi and make daily deposits
* Sort and distribute mail daily
* Using your strong administrative and computer skills, this position will perform various tasks, such as managing lease files, updating necessary paperwork and computer systems, completing marketing/advertising tasks, updating Craig's List daily, etc. * File hard-copy documents
* Other office duties as needed * This is a part-time position, 26 hours a week. Saturdays are required initially; must be able to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications:

* Must be bilingual in English/Spanish * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Yardi
* Understanding of basic math used in rent calculations
* Able to use basic office machines: computer, printer, adding machine or calculator * Experience in multi-family leasing, administrative assistant, or similar customer service position
* Experience working in a real estate setting not required, but is preferred * Strong time management and organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail with follow through
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Strong adherence to ethical standards including, but not limited to, understanding Fair Housing and having the ability to maintain confidentiality and maintain fiduciary responsibility
