Up for rent is a main floor room in a home with walking distance to Twinbrook Metro. The house has two upstairs rooms and two on the main floor. The two tenants on the first floor share a bathroom and you would be sharing a bathroom with the upstairs tenant so there's never a line to use it. The room has been recently remodeled, as in just finished yesterday, and has hardwood floors, new paint and updated insulation in all the walls. The home is conveniently located by the Red Line of the Metro and walking distance to three shopping plazas. If you don't drive there's plenty of convenience around you. If you do drive then there's street parking in a safe neighborhood.
The home also has high speed Verizon wifi through out the house. All utilities are included in the cost and there is no lease period. Before you move all I ask is 30 days notice. I don't ask for excessive levels of cleaning but do expect a bit of ownership and pride in how you keep the bathroom and common areas.
The house vibe is kind of a live and let live type of bit. Everyone tends to keep to themselves and does their own thing. In the summer time there are get togethers out back so that may pick back up when the weather improves. The other tenants are in the late 30's and professionals. If you're looking for a fresh out of college, let's hit happy hour and play games as a house type of setup this probably won't be the place. The room is for single occupancy and sorry but pets are not allowed. If you want to have people over that is fine but please don't ask if your significant other can move in with you.
