Deep Learning Engineer (Bethesda)

We are developing a set of systems and products that will revolutionize the world of safety and security. The lucky few will collaborate with co-founders, Silicon Valley veterans, and other industry experts to advance the course of technology.

Responsibilities:

Change the world!
Design and implement real-time tracking, classification, and detection models for cloud and edge computing
Object motion and trajectories predictions based on scene comprehension
Implement deep learning models for estimating depth, positioning, motion, etc.
Optimize models for low-latency on embedded hardware
Building iterative learning models in the cloud

Required Qualifications:

A healthy disregard for the impossible
Real experience building, training, and deploying deep neural networks with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, PyTorch, etc.
Proficiency with Python or C++, preferably both
CS or equivalent Masters or Ph.D. degree (experience undergrad could be considered)
Ability to contextualize and keep up-to-date with recent literature
Solid software engineering foundation and a commitment to writing clean, well-architected code
Strong verbal and written communications skills and independent work ethic
A strong team player that values collaboration
Image processing experience with OpenCV or similar frameworks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality results
Useful skills

Experience with state-of-the-art in object detection, multi-object tracking, and segmentation
Experience working on high-efficiency deep networks for real-time embedded systems
Experience working on high-accuracy deep learning models in AWS and GCP
Strong fundamental knowledge of linear algebra and projective geometry
Data curation, annotation, and management experience
TensorFlow, TensorFlow Lite
