Big Brother Butler's production of the hit play "Don't Tell Grandma I Met Him Online" is returning and is currently looking for talent in the Washington D.C. area. This comedic/drama production is about a young widow named Brenda who lost her husband in a freak accident and decides to try on line dating after her Aunt Shirley encourages her to do so. Find out what happens next and what Grandma has in store for Brenda.
WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A "AUNT SHIRLEY", "JUANITA" and "SONNY"
FEMALE CHARACTERS
1) "Grandma" is the moral compass and gives Godly advice to her nieces. Must be 50-60 yrs old.
2) "Brenda" is looking for love in all the wrong places. She meets Michael on-line and then all hell breaks loose! Must be 27-38 yrs old. Singing is a plus.
3) "Juanita" is the round the way chick who meets men on-lin. She has lot's of sass. Must be 27-37 yrs old.
4) "Aunt Shirley" has been divorced for several years and is introduced to on-line dating by her girlfriend Juanita. Must possess some sass but maybe not as much as Juanita. Must be 42- 48yrs old.
MALE CHARACTERS
1) "Michael " is an internet playboy who meets Brenda and finally falls for the woman of his dreams, when things go terribly
wrong. Must be 25-40 yrs old, handsome playboy, womanizer.
2) "Brian" is the conscientious "good guy" who gets the girl. His business partner Michael tries to show him the ropes of online dating but Brian has other plans. Must be 25-35 yrs old.
3) "Sonny", Michaels's son who tries to emulate his dad and runs into trouble. Must be between 17 and 22 years old.
4) “Tyrell, Juanita’s boy toy (muscular eye candy for the ladies). Must be between the ages of 25-38 yrs old.
GRANDMA: matriarch of family, hilarious, doesn't take any mess especially from Michael
Brenda: widow, single parent, trying to get back in dating scene
Michael: playboy, serial online dater, main male character,
Brian: respectable single father, boy next door, Brenda\'s high school sweetheart
Aunt Shirley: never married, kids have left home, Materialistic
Juanita: never married, Round-the-Way girl, Gold Digger
Sonny: 18 year-old teenage son of Michael, who emulates his player dad
Tyrell: 33 year-old Muscular boy toy
