Up for sale is a vintage Stanley 8-pound sledgehammer with a 32-inch hickory handle. The handle retains the original Stanley stamp, still legible. The heavily patinated forged steel head shows the number “8” stamped into the face, along with additional markings consistent with Stanley’s vintage USA production. The head has honest surface rust from age and use, with solid structural integrity. The hickory handle is straight with no cracks or splits. A great working tool or vintage tool collection piece.
