I have had this Henry Wright Anvil for since about 1990 and I got it from my late father who had it since the 60's. He painted it black and I assume used Rustoleum paint and most all of it is still on it. There is no surface rust on top and he had it on a brick wall and I since had it on my porch. I removed the paint on the top surface and there was no rust on top. I sprayed it to keep it from rusting. He used a primer and a good oil paint. Henry Wright also had a brother who made anvils but the Henry seems more rare from what I can tell since I see very few or none at all. It is stamped 150lbs It is made in England. Serious buyers who collects antiques anvils and or tools. I collect tools myself and hate to part with it, but plan on moving in a year or so and wont have the room or the back to lift it again. This is pick up only, so don't pay until you see it. No Low ball offers
Nice Anvil to use or decorate. 150lbs
