Maintenance Technician (Single Family Homes) – Laurel, MD
$32/hr | Full-Time | 40+ hours a week| No on-call
Bay Property Management Group is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to service single-family homes throughout Laurel, Prince George’s County, Anne Arundel, Montgomery Counties, and Washington, DC.
This is a full-time, field-based role ideal for a skilled technician who can work independently, manage their own schedule, and handle a variety of residential maintenance tasks. --Pay & Benefits--
Earn $32.00 per hour with consistent full-time hours and overtime opportunities available. Benefits include a 401(k) with company match, employee-paid health insurance, six paid holidays, and 15 days of PTO after 90 days.
--What You’ll Be Doing--
You will handle day-to-day maintenance requests across multiple occupied and vacant homes. This includes plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting repairs, along with general handyman work such as doors, windows, blinds, and weatherproofing. You will also repair and install fixtures including sinks, toilets, garbage disposals, and flooring. The role includes completing move-out inspections, full unit turns, and getting homes ready for new residents. You’ll use AppFolio to manage work orders, document updates, and track your work, while also providing repair estimates and maintaining organized records.
--What You Need to Qualify--
You must have solid residential maintenance experience, including painting, and a strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. You must have your own work van or pickup truck, active vehicle insurance, and your own tools. The ability to work independently, stay organized, and communicate professionally with residents and team members is essential. Experience with AppFolio or similar systems is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

This is a full-time position with local travel between properties.
