I built this in 2023 to move across country and then I was gonna convert it to a mini camper but never got to it.
This is an unfinished camper with parts included
The build:
- Harbor Freight 4x8 trailer 1720lb capacity.
- Upgraded tires with brand new spare
- Titled and registered in Maryland
- Built with 3/4 plywood and 2x3 as frame.
- Epoxy every hole
- PMF (poor man fiberglass) with waterproof exterior paint (extra paint included)
- Bolted down to the metal frame and insulated floor with foam board.
- OSB floor painted with waterproof paint
- Bottom of the trailer underneath has PVC sheet for further waterproofing
- Top roof same PVC sheet
Extras:
- MaxxAir fan already installed in roof
- 2 teardrop doors included ($600 value)
- One 100W Renogy solar panel
- Laminate flooring included for free (light wood color)
- Leftover pink foam board I was gonna use for walls, ceiling
- I have a box full of small accessories and things that I was gonna use on the build
Small stuff:
- Need grease the lifting mechanism and wheels (just maintenance)
- Need stronger or longer gas struts to hold the door
- The door doesn't line up perfectly at times
