Job Overview:
Small's Enterprise, a minority woman-owned dump truck hauling company in the DMV area, is seeking experienced and dedicated Dump Truck Operators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting asphalt, milling, dirt, and performing snow routes using our fleet of 2017 Kenworth W9, 1999 Kenworth truck or Automatic Sweeper Trucks. Must drive stick shift transmission for Dump Truck
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 2017, 1999 Kenworth dump truck or Automatic Sweeper Truck to transport asphalt, milling, dirt, and other materials.
Adhere to scheduled routes, including snow routes during winter months.
Must be willing and able to work day shift/ or and Night Shift (Asphalt/Miling)
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours, material deliveries, and other required documentation.
Follow all company safety protocols and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, job site supervisors, and other team members.
Load and unload materials as needed, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
Report any issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL A or B license.
A clean driving record with no recent violations.
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a dump truck.
Knowledge of asphalt, milling, and dirt hauling processes.
Ability to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to handle manual labor and long hours.
Preferred Experience:
****MUST DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION****
Previous experience working in the DMV area.
Familiarity with snow route operations and handling winter road conditions.
Must have experience in milling and asphalt work
