DESIGNATED DRIVER FOR ALL OCCASIONS (CONCERTS, FESTIVALS, GAMES, ETC.) (metroDCbased, drive mid-Atlantic/ northeast regions)

I'm a legally licensed, insured, safe and reliable driver (perfectly clean record - no violations,
no points, over 50 years of driving experience - locally, regionally, cross-country and even
coast-to-coast). I can be available to drive for you and your group of friends while you party
as hard as you'd like to, and get everybody home safely.

Why risk a DUI ($11,000+ in legal costs, fines, etc., according to VDOT ads on radio), or,
worse yet, personal injury or death to your passengers or others on the road? Enjoy (and
I mean REALLY enjoy) the game, concert, festival, event, etc., as much as the rest of your
group, while keeping them totally safe.

Summer is here and that means a lot of concerts, music festivals, ballgames, etc., at various
venues across Virginia, DC, Maryland, and beyond, and I can safely drive you and your group
to and from all of them. That would include (among many others) these venues:

Jiffy Lube Live, Wolf Trap, Nationals Park, Aldi Field, Northwest Stadium, Merriweather Post,
M&T Bank Stadium, Orioles Park at Camden Yards, various VA-DC-MD parks and fairgrounds,

and other venues in places like Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston.

Summer is also a great time to take advantage of all the outstanding wineries, craft breweries and
distilleries throughout the local area and the extended mid-Atlantic and Northeast region.

Then there is that other thing so many of us anxiously await every year: football season!

Have me drive you to and from home and road games of the Commanders, Ravens, and other pro
teams. as well as the home and road games of the Maryland Terps, Navy Midshipmen, Towson
Tigers, Virgina Cavaliers, and other college teams.

One of the best aspects of football games (and of outdoor concerts and music festivals) is the
tailgating party before and after, and not just because traffic always sucks when trying to leave.
Being fully stocked with your favorite foods, beverages, games, etc., and hanging out with your
friends (and the great people parked near you) is a big part of the overall experience. Now I don't
believe that those drivers on those apps (the "U" drivers or the "L" drivers or any others) would
allow you to bring all that stuff with you, or hang around, or be much fun. Using your vehicle
to bring your friends and all your stuff is always a better option. And I'm a fun and funny guy.

The other reason that your vehicle would be used is that while I have driven well over a million
miles with all kinds of vehicles (cars, SUVs, vans, pickups, work trucks, moving trucks, 30-foot
RVS, etc.) locally, regionally and cross-country, my personal vehicle is only a subcompact. It
might be just a tad crowded, unless your friends don't mind riding on the roof. Okay, some of
them might get drunk or high enough to try, perhaps with another friend sitting on the hood
filming it, but let's not.

There's also the problem of people who can't hold their alcohol, and get sick in a car, so I just
won't use my vehicle, even for one or two people.

I also would point out that many (if not most) of the drivers advertising rides in their own vehicles
do not have the legally required drive-for-hire license to use their own vehicle to drive for pay.

Worse yet, they also don't have the proper insurance coverage for using one's own vehicle for pay.
The typical personal vehicle insurance policy specifically excludes coverage for any accidents or
injuries in the event the insured vehicle owner uses his/her own vehicle for compensation.

Having someone like me drive your vehicle eliminates that problem, as your vehicle's insurance
would cover everyone in the (highly unlikely) event I'd ever be liable for an accident (again, my
perfectly clean record - no violations, no points, over 50 years of driving experience, never a
faulted accident). The fact that you're paying me for my time and services does not adversely
affect your coverage.

My hourly rates are very reasonable, compared to all other services, and, of course, there is a
minimum time amount (usually 6-8 or more hours worth, depending, among other things,
on how far I have to drive to you in the first place, how many passengers there will be, etc.).
Whatever they might run, they'd be relatively little compared to the usual costs of tickets for
the event, and downright nanoscopic compared to the costs of a DUI or an accident involving
injuries or deaths. Seriously wild partying requires a seriously responsible approach: me.
Presumably the other people in your group would split the costs with you, so that you can
also be the party animal you were meant to be. Why should they have all the fun?

So reply to me by providing the following information:

__ your name and general location (town / zip)

__ the date(s) and location(s) / venue (s) of the
concert(s) / festival(s) / ballgame(s) for which
you'd need my services (include musician / artist /
team names, as applicable)

__ if applicable, the date(s), location(s) and name(s)
of each winery, brewery or distillery you wish to visit

__ the number of passengers, including yourself,
for each occasion

__ the year, make, and model of vehicle I'd be driving
for you (your owned, leased or rented vehicle, as the
case may be)

I look forward to doing this work for you.

Thank you for your attention.
