$385 Press Release (Washington)

We have been in the PR industry for ten years. One thing that makes us different is that we don’t tie our clients into contracts that drag on for many months. We work on an as-needed basis.

Among other publications, our founder, who is still involved in all of our accounts, has written on PR for Entrepreneur, CEO Magazine, and Business2Community. Links to her articles can be found at

We have two pricepoints: $385 if you or someone from your team is the contact, or $750 if we are the contact.

What this would mean is that all of the email responses would come to your inbox, instead of ours. You would have to deal with the same number of emails as you would if we were the contact, because we would be emailing you every time someone requested an interview to ask you about your schedule. The only difference in the time investment for you would be that when a release goes out, there are a lot of out of the office and autoreplies, which take a minute to delete them all, and you would see the no's, which you wouldn't see if we were the contact.

Even though we make more money when we are the contact on the release, when someone asks us our honest opinion about which one they should do, we tell them they should be the contact, for a few reasons. (1) No one knows your product better than you do to answer questions. (2) No one knows your schedule better than you do to book an interview. (3) It cuts down on any lag when the email goes to the journalist who responds to us, sits in our inbox until we read it and email you, sits in your inbox until you read it and respond to us, sits in our inbox until we read it and reply to the journalist.

We also have an option for one month of unlimited pitching for $1,500.

The Process (if you choose the $385 option)

Takes one-and-a-half weeks to complete from the time you send us the answers to our initial questions.

1. We send you seven to ten questions to answer for us to draft the press release.
2. We use those answers to draft the press release and pitch. If any questions come up while we're writing, we get in touch with you for more answers.
3. We send you the release and pitch to approve.
4. We make any requested changes. There are unlimited revisions. We go back and forth until you’re happy.
5. We send you the final pitch and press release for final approval.
6. We build the media list and send you a copy of the media list (email addresses and phone numbers are redacted, but you'll be able to see name, job title, outlet, what subject they cover, and location).
7. We pick a day together (either a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) that works for you for your release to go out.
8. We set the release.

Please let us know if you have any questions we can answer for you.
