This Essick AirCare MA-1201 Humidifier has the capacity to humidify a large room for up to 24 hours without refilling. Please note this is a HUMIDIFIER (makes air more humid) not a DEHUMIDIFIER (dries the air). It is intended mainly for use in winter when humidity levels drop. I got it to maintain humidity at an ideal level for my musical instruments. This model can be set to a specific percentage of humidity that you want to maintain (such as 48%). Because of its large capacity, it needs less frequent refilling with water. The latest version of this model is $144 new online.
