Antique 19th Century Folding Campaign Chair WITH folding desk
Beautiful 19th Century Antique Folding Camp Meeting Campaign Chair w/replaced
fabric seat. They used to be carpet seats originally. Comes with an antique folding desk
as well.
This is a wonderful old Civil War era chair. I believe these were made by B.J. Harrison. This
one is marked "KALLING" on its back. You be the judge here.
The folding desk:
Measures 9 3/4" x 7" x 4" tall
Has a small diamond shape inlay pattern on top of the box
Two storage compartments under the green fabric areas
Has two antique ink wells inside, probably not original to this piece, but serious age to them
One inkwell is green, the other is white
Another compartment with lid between the two inkwells, probably to store an old quill pen
Does have a key hole with key mechanism, but no key

Pictures tell the story. Folds up like a snap and looks GREAT for its age.

THANKS FOR LOOKING
Everything looks original to me. It has a few scuffs, scratches, and dings. The carpet has obvious wear but looks awesome for the age. See all 24 photos for best description.
