I think this bike is gorgeous.
Sky Blue frame and white handlebar tape.
Ready to ride in good condition.
Strong, sleek Chromium-Molybdenum Steel frame. Strength without bulk.
This is from when Schwinn was a bike shop bicycle vs. Schwinns of today. Not made in China.
19 inch frame with approximate stand over of 29.5" so this would fit most except for the very tall and vertically challenged.
Features:
-Suntour rear derailleur, 6-speed;
-Down tube shifters;
-Sakae Road Champion Drop Handlebar (~16" wide);
-Dia-Compe brakes;
-Weinmann Alloy Rims (made in Belgium with quick release.
-San Marco saddle.
From the catalog: "The Traveler is the most popular bike in the Schwinn lightweight line. Just a glance at its long list of features will tell you why. All three main tubes are chrome-moly. And both the rims and hubs are machined from light weight, aluminum alloy. This makes the Traveler one of the lightest bike in its class. "
Come give it a test ride or pick it up for a memory-stirring gift (boomers).
Thanks for looking.
