For sale 1987 Chris-Craft Amerosport 320 cabin cruiser. Vessel has twin 270HP Crusader freshwater gas engines. It is slipped at Sweden Point (Smallwood State Park) near Indian Head MD. I purchased this boat in 2021. Surveyed at that time with “Excellent” rating (see screenshot. Survey available as pdf). The boat is filthy as there were (and still are) freshwater issues at the marina – so no power wash for almost 2 years. No spring-cleaning last year on the interior either…. I used this primarily as berthing during the week rather than commute to the area for work. Since purchase, I have installed a heat pump (Marinaire) and a two-hose AC unit. Also relatively new is a new 12V/120V refrigerator. The engines have been run weekly since I’ve owned it – but I haven’t taken it out much for cruising (exhausted after work). Has a Garmin MDF with thru-hull transducer. I also have an engine room heater for winters. The engines start and run reasonably well, but it’s been over 2 years since a tuneup so they start a little less easily than freshly tuned. The gas gauges don’t work reliably but other gauges work. There is one cosmetic blemish on the wall above the power outlet. An electrical cord caught fire (and didn’t even trip the breaker). The only other issue is most likely a loose spring on the velvet drive vibration plate (port side). There is some rattling noise at idle that goes away once the throttle is raised. The clears were new as of 2021, but one has been damaged (sometime in the last two weeks). All manuals and maintenance records (since new) available. Priced to reflect the vibration plate (probably ~$2K to fix even though a new plate part is only ~$100). Slip at Sweden point paid for through December 2026. Reasonable offers considered.
I have a google photo album, but CL won't let me post a link. If interested, reply and I'll send you a link to lots of photos.
