OP/PM - MANAGER (Arlington)

Currently we are seeking an Operations and Project Management guru, a person that is equal parts OCD and relentless.

Job responsibilities

Project/Quality Management
• Design and manage ongoing client projects to ensure effective execution, communication and completion
• Develop project models and workflow initiatives
• Understand and be able to use a Project Management system - preferably Office 365 based
• Maintain all client site technical information to ensure accuracy and currency
• Create, modify and maintain check lists, standards and procedures
• Audit staff compliance to standards

Operations Management
• Drive initiatives of the technical team and contribute to long-term operational excellence
• Improve operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s objectives
• Improve resource utilization, management reporting, information flow/management, and business processes
• Prepare status reports and facilitate internal and client meetings
• Maintain, track, and enhance vendor/partner relationships and certifications
 
Leadership and Strategy Development
• Contribute to short- and long-term organizational planning, policy, and growth strategy as a member of the management team
• Work cross-functionally as a liaison between technicians, human resources, accounting and operations
 
Education and experience

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of business management experience in a professional environment
• Experience serving clients and supporting operations in an IT environment
 
Job knowledge, skills, abilities
 
• Experience in a technology based environment
• Knowledge of Cloud based systems
• Excellent communication skills with the demonstrated ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Outstanding organizational and project management capabilities
• Leadership and people management skills, be receptive to direction, and thrive in a collaborative work environment
• Sound business judgment and the requisite level of discretion to handle sensitive and confidential situations
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
