Dulles Glass & Mirror is a full-service glass and mirror business serving the D.C. Metro area for over 25 years. We are seeking a full time or part time Purchasing Associate to join our team at our Manassas HQ Location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Purchasing materials, supplies, equipment and services used by the company
-Regularly receiving quotes to ensure the best products at the best price points
-Maintain all purchase orders and receipts
-Ability to build relationships with vendors and negotiate the best prices for the company.
-Work with teammates to make sure all purchases have been fully received and damage free.
-Handling returns or requesting credits from vendors for wrong, missing, or damage items.
-Monitor stock inventory and reorder as needed to make sure employees always have what they need to be successful
Required Skills and Qualification:
-Proficient in use of business software applications, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
-Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills
-Ability to work in a fast pace high demand environment where you will need to be able to multitask daily.
-Strong problem solving and time management skills
-Highly Organized and detail oriented
-Prior experience in glass manufacturing is a plus, but not required
