Vintage Crescendoe Nylon Gloves (Never worn) - $14 (Arlington)

Great addition to your vintage glove collection or wearing for retro dressing-up, tea parties, special occasions, weddings, or mid-century modern costumes.

Inside label reads “Leather Tailored Crescendoe Caresse” and “All Nylon”. The little booklet included markets the Caresse fabric as having “the look of the finest doeskin. Yet you can toss it in with your regular laundry”. It clings to your hand like a tender touch”, “gives you bare-hand freedom”, and makes your “fingers look long and slim”.
These gloves are a “4-button” glove (where length is expressed in “Buttons” - an antique French unit of measure based on the distance between the base of the thumb and the top edge of the glove).
They are a total of 11 ½” inches (from fingertip to top of glove) covering the wrist and reaching a couple of inches up onto the forearm.
CONDITION: Gloves are in Excellent shape for their age, clean and fresh smelling, with no dirt, spots, or fraying.
