I bought the Miata with the intention of using it for autocross but changed course with another car. In preparation I had the following items replaced/upgraded by a professional shop. Parts either sourced from Good Win Racing or Flying Miata. Highlights include new performance clutch, timing belt, and MeisterR coilovers!!
Koyo radiator (fluid flush, hoses & cap)
Magnecor 8.5mm spark plugs wires
NGK extended reach spark plugs
NGK ignition coils
Fuel injectors & filter
Exedy lightweight flywheel
Exedy Performance Stage-1 Clutch Kit
Techna Fit Complete Stainless Steel Clutch Line
Clutch Master and Slave Cylinders
Good Win High Performance Brake Kit - Sport Size
MeisterR ClubRace Coilovers
Front tie rods
Battery & Bracket
Additional items of note:
-New All-Season Tires (less than 100 miles on them)
-Recent Maaco-Quality Paint & Body Work (mostly drivers side rear quarter panel).
-The interior is appropriate for its age but the driver's door card needs to be repaired.
-Car needs an alignment (I was waiting to do this once I settled on my wheel/tire setup).
-Top works well and does not leak
-Clean Texas Title
I have over $9K invested in this car. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country (after the alignment). I also have a Fabworx Roll Bar and Konig Dial-In (15X9) wheels (all brand new in their boxes) that are also available to buy).
