The car runs and drives about as well as a 75-year-old car can. I’m looking to sell it due to a lack of time and the skills required to give the car what it needs. Most of the chrome, handles, and rocker panels are currently off the car so they don’t get damaged.
---Work I’ve Done---
Installed a new radiator. (The original has leaks due to rust, but I still have it.)
Installed turn signals.
Swapped front drums for discs and installed a dual-chamber master cylinder (Turner Brake Conversion Kit).
Repaired front and rear lights.
Cleaned up wheels and installed new tires.
Other miscellaneous non-intrusive repairs.
---Issues with the Car---
Starts reliably if the battery has enough charge, but if left sitting the battery will need to be recharged.
Brakes need to be bled before they’re reliable; back drums probably also need to be re-inspected.
Parking brake not hooked up.
Small fuel leak from fuel filter.
None of the gauges work.
Some parts of the car, especially the bottoms of the doors, have significant cosmetic rust damage.
Exhaust ends under the passenger seat.
Back left window was originally broken. I have a new window to replace it but haven’t installed it yet.
General surface rust, but the frame is still sturdy.
---Additional Parts Included---
Parking brake lever with cable.
Large and small hubcaps.
New rocker panels.
Original radiator.
Original front drum brakes.
New wiring harness.
New lock with keys.
Rubber tail-light seals.
New original ammeter for dash.
New original oil-pressure gauge for dash.
Miscellaneous oil/rubber lines.
Back chrome trunk latch.
Front spotlight glass cover.
Window-seal rubber.
I’ve loved working on this car and it still means a great deal to me, but it’s time it goes to a better home. If you have the space, tools, and skill, this car will be a blast to work on.
