Dog Walker/Pet Sitter (Ashburn)

B Cares Pet Services is an established and well-loved pet sitting company, and we are seeking exceptional pet visitors to add to our staff!

Visitors needed in: Ashburn, VA
Responsibilities of Dog walker/Pet Sitter:
• You’ll provide feeding, walking, plus plant watering and mail pickup while clients are traveling.
• Visits for dogs/cats/other small household pets are 15 minutes to 1 hour between 6am - 10am, 10am - 2pm, 11am - 3pm, 2pm - 6pm or 6pm - 10pm. (Perfect for someone who wants to supplement their income before and after a full- time job.)
• Punctual arrival
• Effective communication with clients and staff
Requirements:
• You have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
• You have capable access to the internet via smartphone.
• You can commit to working with us for at least 6 months.
• You love both dogs and cats.
• Able to handle both small and large dogs.
• Being able to “speak dog” and have “cat conversations” is a plus!!
• You are available for either morning or evening visits 3-5 times a week.
• Team oriented mindset and also able to manage working independently.
• You can work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s (Don’t worry; you’ll be able to
have a holiday too, and you’ll be paid more per visit during this time.)
• You can pass a criminal / background check.
Experience:
Customer service: 1 year (preferred - training will be provided for right candidate)
Professional pet care: 1 year (preferred - training will be provided for right candidate)
Compensation: Income varies from $12 - $22+/per hour depending on availability, length of service and number of pets.
