For sale is a Marantz 2220B brushed aluminum faceplate.
This faceplate is in pristine/mint condition. No dings or nicks, no NOTHING. This is because the receiver was essentially new old stock (NOS) and before I obtained it, it had spent nearly all of its lifetime in its box.
On the front surface, minor smudge marks were removed with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and water (you can also use a small amount of dishwashing liquid in water); the results were amazing...it really IS a "magic eraser".
On the rear surface, the old cement that held the plastic trim piece has been completely removed - a VERY time-consuming process using a soft cloth and solvent. See photo.
I managed to find new screws and have them available if you need them, but that will add $15.61 to the price, which is exactly what I paid for them. These are very hard to find!
$50 - price reflects the condition of this piece (add $15.61 if you need the screws).
