Giorgio's Family Restaurant is a locally owned and operated full-service restaurant that has been in business since 1999 and is considered one of the most popular restaurants in Prince William County. Chefs George and Michael Lampros have many years of kitchen experience and produce some of the best food in the region. They are looking for a well qualified and responsible line cook to be a part of their hard working team. They are seeking an individual for a part time position or possibly full time position as business recovers/grows.


At least 4 years restaurant kitchen experience
Ability to cross train over multiple stations (grille, fry, sauté, salad, etc.)
Working knowledge of modern kitchen technology and equipment
Mastery and knowledge of basic culinary skills (butchering, sauces, etc.)
Skilled at artful plating and presentation
Ability to consistently line cook to a fine-dining standard
Strong multitasking skills
Ability to accurately follow direction and recipes from the executive chef
Calm under pressure, especially when expediting tickets
Ability to take initiative in stressful situations and work out of the weeds and control the line in the chef's absence
Open and creative mind
Willingness to learn and adapt
Reliable means of transportation preferred

Pre-Service Prep
Will work a combination of grill, sauté, sandwich, and salad stations
End of service cleaning of station and general kitchen cleaning
Continuous maintenance of station during service hours
Support and coordination of tickets with kitchen team
General kitchen duties as assigned by Chef
