I have over 40 genuine United States coins that were struck with errors. The majority of them are Lincoln cents struck off center. Most error coins like these are no longer being produced because the mint introduced quality controls that stops their release. They have been going up in value since these quality controls were implemented and they are expected to continue going up in value.
