Premium Construction. This internal spare tire carrier is manufactured using a polyurethane centering device that securely holds the wheel while off-roading. It comes with a “baja” style wing nut that can carry your heavy 70+ lb. wheel when trying to line up the lug studs without having to maneuver it. This tire carrier is finished with a rugged Black powder coating that can take on exposure to harsh weather and other off-road abuses.
Straightforward Installation. Installing the tire to the Steinjager Tire Carrier is quite easy. Simply use the four clamps to mount the tire inside your Wrangler. But before installing this tire carrier, the rear seat will need to be removed, and the roll bar padding will have to be modified or removed.
Application. The Steinjager Internal Spare Tire Carrier in Black is designed to fit on all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door models.
Note.This is not recommended to use with steel wheels. You will not be able to tighten the wheel down to the main body.
