Beautiful vintage pierced lamp on a wood plinth. The Lamp is in perfect working condition. The delicate porcelain is in wonderful shape - no chips or cracks . The shade is lined and in good shape without tears. Most likely from the 1960’s.

This lamp is wired for interior base lighting as well as having the top of the lamp light ( via separate switches on the cord ). The top and the bottom will light simultaneously or separately. The cords have some electrical tape applied to hold both cords together. The wiring is original to lamp.

These types of lamps were generally made in Japan in the mid last century. They are sometimes called wedding lamps or devil's lamps. I just call them beautiful!
