The interior is clean. Its framing can be easily adjusted to store legal or letter files. The lower and upper drawers both have magnets to assist with closure. For safety, as a design feature, the top drawer will not open when the lower drawer is open. Each drawer can be removed to lighten the load while moving it.
The cabinet measures approximately 37.5"W x 31”H x 20.5”D. I don’t have its actual weight but it is solid hard wood and very heavy. It is in unaltered condition and has a beautiful gloss with minor signs of wear normal with age.
NOTE: The black circle that appears in some of the pictures showing the top of the cabinet is a reflection from a ceiling light. It is not a stain!
