For sale is a superb example of a 2000 model year Johnson 5hp, 2 stroke (50:1) long shaft outboard motor in barely used condition in the freshwater upper Potomac River. Starts right up, idles smoothly, revs quick, no sputtering or hesitation and very quiet as well. Shifts smoothly through f-n-r gears and has strong cooling water stream even at idle. Original paint and graphics in great condition, prop shows very little wear on leading edges. Has built in gas tank and connector and lever for external tank if you wanted to get one for longer run times. This model is the same as a Suzuki of the same year and power- parts are interchangeable. Will take $385, cash only. Will demo in barrel for buyer.
