These planters were purchased at an estate sale in McLean, VA about five years ago. While I’m not an expert, I believe they may date from the 1980s. They’ve been displayed on our covered porch ever since and have developed a lovely patina over time. One has a black flint cloth lining inside, which suggests they may have originally been intended for indoor use.
